Freeze dried herbs are stored in the cabinet like dehydrated herbs but they are packed with the flavor and color of the fresh stuff! When cooking with freeze dried herbs start with less than the recommended amount for fresh herbs in a recipe. These herbs are more concentrated than fresh herbs. The herbs will reconstitute within the food while cooking. You don't need to do anything special, just add it in and enjoy the flavor. Glass jar measures 4.1"x1.8"x1.8" and fits perfectly in most spice racks. Inner lid has a shaker and a pour spout (except in green onions).
